IMAX B5 Balance Charger
I got this charger a while ago but i haven't really done a proper review on it yet so here it is.
I bought the charger a few months ago when i started getting more and more lipo batteries and the stock chargers that came with my helicopters were not balancing good anymore.
I was looking for something cheap but good quality with adjustable charge rate and a good LCD display. This charger was perfect. I could charge my batteries in under an hour where the stock charger would take more than 2 hours.
On the day i got it i pulled everything out of the box and put it on the table, it was a heap smaller than i imagined it would be.
I got all the leads out that i would need and put the rest back in the box and put the box away.
So then i thought i would see how good the cell balancer in it was. So i hook up my old stock e-flite battery that has had a few hundred cycles through it (literally) and is out of balance by 0.26V. This one took longer because it had to do a lot of balancing at the end and when the alarm goes off guess what the voltage reads, 4.20V and 4.20V. I'm extremely impressed with it being able to balance a battery that much out of balance.
It's cheap, works great, easy to use, and you can adjust a lot of things in the menu, i.e keys beep when you press them, alarm when finished charging, or even the brightness of the screen.
It's an awesome charger and i think everybody that doesn't already have a good charger needs one.
